Making Money With Blogs

This report is a short one because I give you the Adsense-Mint PDF report within the pages that is quite long. I don’t want you to be over taxed with reading and never start any program.

Blogs. What are they? Blogs were started to give people a way to list their thoughts and opinions and keep the family and friends up to date on what they were doing. Then businesses got involved by using blogs to keep customers informed as to what is new in their industry. Then some smart people found ways to use blogs to make money. Some make a full time income from their blogs. These are professional bloggers.

Below I will show you what is needed to become a professional blogger. A professional blogger is anybody that makes money with their blog even if it is only a few dollars.

Content is king. It does not matter as much as to what your blog looks like it matters in what you have to say. Content of the blog is the most important part.

Personal blogs are easy to write because all you have to do is write about your day or week so your friends and family are kept up-to-date. They are not designed and the content is not the kind where you will or can make money off of your blog.

To make money off of a blog you need to find a niche. And that niche should be something you love to talk about or write about. You can get by with a topic that is not of great interest to you but it will be much easier to write about something you love. You will post more often and the quality of the posts will show your interest.

Finding your niche. Make a list of any and all the subjects you think you would like to write about. Just make the list with everything you can think of and then you can refine it later. Besides content for a moneymaking blog you need people that are also VERY interested in that subject. You need people that are passionate about that subject.

To find these niches you can go to http://www.pixelfast.com/overture/ and enter your key word and you will find how many people are searching and the amount that has been bid on for that keyword.

You can also go to Ebay and use their category list to find niches. Click on any category in the list and you will come up with sub-niches. This could keep you busy for a while because there are thousands of them.

Now that you have a niche or two that you want to write about you need a following.

Here is how to create a following. These will be people that are interested in your information and are willing to BUY your products. Don’t have any products? Don’t worry I will show you how to make money without products and with other peoples products.

To create a following you must post to your blog on a regular basis, be that daily or weekly, you have to have new content so you keep the people coming back. That is how you are going to make your money. You have to build trust with the people that come to your blog and the best way to do that is offer good content and often. It will take a person maybe four or five trips to your blog before they will start clicking on your products. Once they see that you are “one of them” they will have faith in you and will buy products related to your subject.

I am also going to show you a way to make money even if they do not buy any of your products. But for now you need a following.

One way is to post comments on forums on the subject of your choice. Don’t make your post an advertisement just help answer questions and give good information about the subject. Then most forums let you put a link at the bottom of the post. This is where you put your blogs link. If you post daily to 4 or 5 forums you will get people, the kind you are looking for, to your blog.

Another great way to get people to your blog is to exchange links with other bloggers on related subjects. Let’s say you are writing on Bowling. Look for blogs on Golf and write to the owners and ask if he/she would like to trade links. To find the blogs go to http://blogsearch.google.com/

and enter the subject (Golf) or whatever your related subject is.

Now you have to find advertisers. This is actually the easy part. You can use Google Adsense ads on your blog and every time some one clicks on one of the ads you get paid. Here is a free report on Adsense

You can also put affiliate products on your blog. Don’t just put some ads for affiliate products on your pages, put them in the text as hyperlinks. If you don’t know what hyperlinks are go here for information on using hyperlinks in MS Word program.
